Telangana Government has issued Letter to the Accountant General (Pension) on notice of PRTUTS to the Government that the AG is rejecting the pension proposals of the employees.
The Government of Telangana has instructed to sanction pension benefits according to the G.O.Ms.No. 33 Finance (HRM.V) Deptartment, Dated .07.04.2015 and G.O.Ms.No. 25 Finance (HRM.IV) Department, Dated 18.03.2015.
The Employees pensionary benefits allows notionally who retired between 01.07.2013 and 01.06.2014 are eligible for revision of their pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 and monetory benefit should be allowed from 02.06.2014 on;y.
In Para 10 of the said G.O, it was mentioned that in the case of employees who retired on or after 02.06.2014 the pension shall be calculated on the pay in Revised Pay Scales, 2015 only. Regarding commutation at para 12 of the said G.O. it is clearly mentioned that the existing table of commutation value shall be continued and entitled to commute 40% of pension and para 11.3 it is mentioned that the difference of commutation value shall be allowed on the pension notionally fixed.
